WHAT’S IN A NAME?

Names are so often representations of an idea, a value, or a mini story.  Take the name of our Air BnB and this website as an example.

When we first moved to Maori Creek Road, Marsden, we had no internet, no landline and, with all the trees and hills there is no mobile connectivity.

One day while walking up the drive with my phone in hand to take some pictures it pinged.

I got a text.

There was very weak coverage, but coverage all the same.

Holding my phone like my compass, I followed the bars and there it was, what seemed like the invisible magic portal of internet connectivity.

This portal, this magical gateway to the cloud, was … between two trees.

So, with all this in mind we named our air bnb site between 2 trees
